Budget
As Digital Alberta is a not-for-profit association, there is no monetary compensation for the creation of the initial design for this project. However, we have a budget allocated to take the design concept through to the production process for each form (media) that the design is used in. Based on production capabilities and associated costs, Digital Alberta will give the selected designer the first opportunity to bid and produce the work. The successful designer or company will have their name included on all media where their design has been used. As well, recognition and advertising space will be provided in the finalist catalogue that will be mailed to thousands of businesses, schools and media following the Awards Gala.

Submission Requirements
Submission format: JPEG or GIF files delivered by email to: info@digitalalberta.com
Submissions must be in nearly complete form, although it is understood that fine-tuning of the design will be necessary by the selected designer. For example, submissions must show the intended use of colours, shapes and/or illustrations. Textual information that will be included on the poster (and all other forms of media) may include, but is not limited to, date, place, time and/or ticket price for the event. Applicants should keep in mind that this text will be inserted and incorporate this component into the design ("geeking" okay on this submission).

The exact size of the poster has not yet been determined. Applicants must note that the maximum size of the poster is 22"x29", and the image area should not exceed 20"x28". The poster must be suitable for mailing to target audiences.

Critical Dates
All POSTER entry submissions must be received no later than June 20, 2009.
Send submissions via email to yulia@digitalalberta.com

Legal
All submissions made must accept the decision of the judges as final. Digital Alberta will own the copyright in the winning submission, but the creator will have "Creator Rights" and have their name displayed in all uses of their creation. A release with regards to all of the above conditions must be signed by the winner (or their legal guardian) prior to the announcement of the winner.
