Do-it-yourself Videos and Social Media Marketing
With current affordable technology, short form videos placed on social marketing venues have become a viable communication medium for small businesses, SMEs and creative professionals without formal training in video production and distribution. Short video is now one of the fastest growing tactics in marketing, with over 50% of marketers in 2009 using video as a mechanism on the internet and mobile platforms.
Digital Alberta and the Banff New Media Institute are partnering again to offer a workshop designed to teach the basics of producing and distributing short-length videos and how to use short-form video as a marketing technique in social media and on mobile platforms. In the course of this two and a half day workshop, participants will be shown low-cost multi-media tools and techniques and best practices for capturing customer attention and loyalty via video on social media and mobile platforms through discussions, examples and case studies.
Join us in the spectacular Rocky mountains for a weekend that will help you bring your business or creative project to a new and growing audience.
